The Foundation for Colorado Community Colleges is able to offer several scholarship opportunities each year for students attending or planning to attend any of the 13 Colorado Community College System colleges.

Established in 2023, the Alper Family Scholarship supports first-generation college students from Colorado’s rural communities, empowering them to achieve their academic dreams and contribute to their local areas.
Created in 2016 by Audrey D. and Harvey D. Rothenberg, this annual scholarship is awarded to a non-traditional student attending or planning to attend a CCCS institution, providing them with the opportunity to pursue their educational goals.
Founded in 1936, Bellco is one of Colorado’s largest financial institutions, with a strong commitment to financial education. Recipients of the Bellco Credit Union Scholarships are encouraged to complete online financial literacy courses, with additional funding available as an incentive.
This scholarship, established to honor Dr. Amy Kahn and her family, supports students who demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, or those with psychological or physical disabilities.
CHFA awards scholarships to students pursuing careers in high-wage, high-skill, in-demand pathways, including Health, Engineering, and Skilled Trades.
Established in 2023, this scholarship aims to deliver skilled workers in high-demand fields such as Health and Engineering to the Colorado workforce.

Established to honor Dr. Meyer’s legacy, this scholarship supports students in need, fostering their educational and professional growth.
Starting with the 2024-2025 academic year, the Foundation for Colorado Community Colleges will proudly award the Eagle Feather Endowed Scholarships annually to Native American students attending or planning to attend a Colorado Community College System college.

Meet our Foundation for Colorado Community Colleges Scholars
To meet Colorado’s evolving workforce needs and help students secure dignified, family-sustaining careers, the Foundation annually awards Workforce Scholarships. These scholarships support students pursuing credentials in Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways and other in-demand fields.
Funding for these scholarships is generously provided by the Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative and other committed donors.
