GENERAL SUMMARY
The Social and Behavioral Science department at the Community College is committed to support Colorado’s statewide Behavioral Healthcare Workforce initiative (SB22-181). Specifically, CCD is supporting behavioral health-care workforce needs through training and building a talent pipeline of future workers with a variety of credentials. Under the direction of the director/department chair this position will help develop and implement a new Behavioral Health program with stackable micro-credentials and an associate’s degree. The faculty position will teach and have a tremendous opportunity to develop or refine the curriculum and contribute to cultivating future employees in the behavioral health field. Individuals in this role will share in CCD’s mission and exemplify principles of equity, diversity and inclusion through all work completed at the college.
This is a full-time 9-month position focused on teaching, internship support, and advising students with academic and career planning. Teaching may occur in person or online including nights and weekends and will have the option for additional summer teaching for additional pay. Faculty share a commitment to and exemplifies principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion in all work done within the department and as part of the college community as well as teach courses in their field by providing a high commitment to quality instruction and student supports.
