Annual salary $47,457 or higher depending on experience.

Department/Division Purpose:
The Pueblo Community College STEM program is committed to promote awareness and student achievement in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. To prepare students for U.A. competitiveness, and develop lifelong learning skills, a strong work ethic, and critical thinking skills that will make them be productive and successful. We continue to develop STEM Curriculum to correlate with industry standards and develop hands-on learning opportunities.
Job Summary Statement:
The Coordinator, STEM EDGE assists and supports the STEM Project Director by providing the administrative support and functional management of the STEM EDGE Project. This position specifically exists to assist and support the STEM Grant Director by providing program planning, budget management, and administrative provision f the STEM EDGE Project. This position will deliver student and academic services including the performance of required business functions at the direction of the STEM Project Director. This position may require night or weekend hours to meet the needs of the college as well as travel to other areas in the service region, other PCC Campuses and Sites, as well as out of state travel. Requires flexibility and adaptability to meet changing work situations. Please be aware that funding for this position is awarded through a Grant/Contract over a specified period. Employment for this position beyond the current Grant/Contract funding is contingent upon continued funding.
This position has been identified by Pueblo Community College as a Campus Security Authority in accordance with the Department of Education guidelines. As a Campus Security Authority, the incumbent in this position is required to report crimes that they become aware of to the Department of Public Safety at Pueblo Community College and must attend annual training related to these responsibilities.
In accordance with Colorado Revised Statutes 24-50-135, this position has been exempted from the State Personnel System.
