GENERAL SUMMARY

CCD’s nursing programs are designed to create competent, ethical, and confident health care practitioners in an innovative, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

The Director of Nursing Education Program (DNEP) at CCD functions within the mission, philosophy, and procedures of the college, the policies of the Colorado Community College System and standard of the State board of nursing. Plans, organizes, and supervises CCD’s Practical Nursing (PN) Program, the Integrated nursing Pathway (INP), the Nurse Aide Program, and the future LPN to BSN program. 

The Director of Nursing position is a full-time administrative position and will be eligible for all benefits associated with a full time, 12-month position.
