Job Description

​Lamar Community College (LCC) is hiring adjunct instructors. Part-time adjunct instructor positions at LCC are responsible for creating and maintaining a teaching and learning environment that empowers students to be successful. Adjunct instructors work under the direction of the Academic Dean.

LCC maintains a pool of qualified part-time adjunct instructors. Part-time instructors will be selected to support departmental requirements. Part-time instructors may be employed to teach courses, conduct presentations, or other service activities when current instructors and faculty are not available.

Currently looking for instructors to teach in the following subjects:

  • English Composition (Spring 2024 Semester)
    • English Composition 2 (1 section)
    • Technical English (2 sections)
