The Clear Creek Makerspace (CCM), powered by Localworks, is a cutting-edge 7,500 square foot makerspace created to foster collaborative design projects for Wheat Ridge and the greater Front Range community. Open to everyone regardless of experience or ability, CCM is one of the largest and most accessible community makerspaces in the Mountain West. We provide regular training workshops and engaging fun special events on equipment usage, prototyping, design, and small business development.
This off campus position reports to both the RRCC Financial Aid Manager of Work Study and Customer Service and the CCM Development and Program Manager. The work schedule for this position is flexible.
This is a student employee position. This position may work up to 20 hours each week while class is in session and up to 28 hours each week during academic breaks or breaks between terms while an RRCC student, depending on class schedule, need, and budget availability. Student employees are enrolled and contribute to a TIAA-CREF account when enrolled in less than six credits.
