Mentor Teacher

Are you an Early Childhood Educator who is committed to educational equity, and willing to engage in the challenging work it takes to bring positive, impactful change? Arapahoe Community College’s Child Development Center is growing and building a team to move our program to a “Lab School Model.”  We are searching for innovative, passionate, thoughtful, energetic, honest, positive Mentor Teachers to join our team. This new role will support and guide our team of Early Childhood Educators, and other adult learners in our campus community to reflect on and refine their practices, use data to inform and improve best practices and instructional quality through modeling and mentoring. As a valued team member, our Mentor Teacher will work collaboratively with leadership, faculty, and colleagues to create and maintain a highly effective environment (model classroom), while teaching and delivering high-engagement instructional designs and embedded learning opportunities for each child.
