POSITION VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT Nursing Faculty & Clinical Coordinator RN to BSN Program 5/18/2024POSITION NUMBER: 300565EMPLOYMENT SPECIFICS: Full-Time Faculty (187 days), 1.11 FTE POSITION LOCATION: Fort Morgan, CO. Hybrid position (Both on-campus and remote work)PURPOSE/SUMMARY OF JOB: The faculty member is responsible for delivery of instruction to students in the RN to BSN completion program. The position includes delivery of nursing curriculum via both distance and traditional methods. Additional duties include the RN to BSN program coordination including 3 credits of release time or equivalent per semester for fall and spring with 20 days of program coordination work in summer. Other responsibilities include student recruitment, student advisement, curriculum development, participation in department and college-wide activities, and professional development. The faculty member is responsible for using teaching methods and media designed to reach students of varying educational and experiential backgrounds to allow each student the opportunity to master the course outcomes. The faculty member will be dynamic, creative and committed to teaching excellence, and have a passion for continuous improvement and assessment of student learning. The use of various instructional delivery methods (i.e. LMS, Webex, Zoom, etc.) may be required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Master’s degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university. Three (3) years of experience in professional clinical nursing practice. Current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in Colorado or compact state.Must have or be able to obtain a Colorado Career and Technical Education Credential.Strong technological skills and experience in using MS Office suite.Teaching experience in a professional nursing program.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Doctorate Degree in Nursing Education, Ed.D or Ph.D from a regionally accredited college or university. Three (3) years of recent experience in professional clinical nursing. Demonstrated success in working with diverse student populations.Experience in teaching via distance.Anticipated Start Date: July 2024Salary and Benefits: $74,400-$89,500 (includes premium pay for high-demand health positions), based on education, skills, and experience.
