This year’s recognition ceremony is a live in-person event to celebrate student honorees with CCCS staff, faculty, and the Board on April 9, 2025.
The ceremony will honor:
Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) All- Colorado Academic Team for the academic accomplishments of high-achieving two-year college students from across the state of Colorado as they are inducted into the PTK All-Colorado Academic Team.
Rising Star Award recipients for their outstanding leadership contributions both on their campuses and to their wider community.
Inclusive Excellence Champion awardees who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion practices on their campus
Rollie Heath Award recognizing a successful college student who also earned Concurrent Enrollment credits during their high school years and who demonstrate leadership in their community. This award honors the work of former Colorado State Senator and SBCCOE Board Chairman, Rollie Heath, who focused his time in office on building Concurrent Enrollment pathways for learners to successfully enter the world of work, military careers, or further postsecondary education, including at one of our 13 CCCS colleges.
Based on the individual award, student honorees are selected through a variety of rigorous application and nomination processes that evaluate academic excellence, leadership, and community service.
