Dr. Lance Bolton
Dr. Lance Bolton serves as the President of Pikes Peak State College (PPSC). He’s served as a president at PPSC for 12 years and as a president in Colorado for 18 years. His leadership focuses on improving student outcomes. He uses data and careful analysis to understand what helps students succeed. He has built a strong and varied team that focuses on helping all students succeed, especially those from underrepresented groups.

As a premier institution in Colorado, PPSC takes pride in supporting our students’ holistic needs and helping them reach their personal and professional goals.
Established in 1968 and accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, PPSC offers associate degrees, certifications, and three bachelor’s degrees. The college has three campuses, off-campus locations, two military education centers, and many online classes. Each year, we serve over 18,000 students with both credit and non-credit classes. Providing access to quality education drives everything we do at PPSC.
