CCCS Internal Dr. Lisa Jones
Dr. Lisa Jones serves as the President of Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC). Dr. Jones has spent the last 32 years of her career advancing the mission of colleges and universities. She approaches her work as an entrepreneur, focusing on serving others. She is dedicated to social justice, building partnerships, and promoting fairness. Dr. Jones works to help students gain access to education, help students achieve their goals, and improve job opportunities.
At CNCC, we pride ourselves on working shoulder-to-shoulder with the community. We are focused on providing education and training that is student-focused and industry-relevant.
CNCC prepares students for their careers. Students gain important skills and build confidence through valuable hands-on experiences. CNCC uses the local environment as a crucial teaching tool. The remote location allows students to explore all five biomes in our area: aquatic, grassland, forest, desert, and tundra.
