The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) and several CCCS colleges won prestigious Medallion Awards at the annual National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) District 4 conference, held in Houston, Texas last week.
The NCMPR Medallion Awards recognize outstanding achievement in design and communication at community and technical colleges in each of NCMPR’s seven districts. Colorado awardees competed against colleagues from Arkansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming.
Fiona Lytle, CCCS chief communications officer and legislative liaison, was named District 4 Communicator of the Year for her exceptional leadership and ability in college communications. Lytle is now in the running for the national award that will be announced next March.
“What we do every day is so important, and we must recognize the impact we have on our institutions and the lives they change,” Lytle said. “I’m incredibly grateful to be the District 4 Communicator of the Year and represent our collective work to support and elevate communities, families, and individual students.”
Four CCCS colleges and the System Office were recognized for successful public relations campaigns, video spots, advertisements and more. Read the full list below:
