Our Investment in Advanced Industries

The Partner of Choice for Colorado

Colorado’s economy is changing rapidly, and we’re keeping pace. Our colleges have evolved to offer thousands of short-term credentials, hundreds of associate degrees, and dozens of Bachelor’s degrees—all designed with input from industry. As the partner of choice for workforce development, we’ve received over $100 million in federal, state, and philanthropic funding in recent years to foster the talent needed to keep Colorado competitive.

Building the Workforce of Tomorrow

Our state is home to many of the country’s leading aerospace and clean energy companies and was recently named the national hub for quantum information technology. The Colorado Community College System is committed designing talent pipelines that will power Colorado’s workforce in emerging and advanced industries.

CCCS has received state and philanthropic funding to rapidly expand programs in renewable energy and clean tech, from wind and solar maintenance to green building.
