A first-generation student, Steven holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in general studies from PCC and a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from CSU Pueblo.

Outside of work, Steven enjoys spending time with his family in the beautiful Colorado outdoors and traveling across the country.

“As a first-generation student, I’ve learned that education is a vehicle for one’s own transformation, helping make possible the opportunities of tomorrow. I am honored to join the State Board and foster these opportunities for more Colorado students.”
