Dr. Tina Parscal
Associate Vice Chancellor for CCCOnline & Academic Affairs
Tina Parscal is the Associate Vice Chancellor for CCCOnline and Academic Affairs for CCCS. In her role, Tina is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic vision that advances CCCS’s nationally recognized consortium model for online and shared course teaching and learning. Additionally, she oversees systemwide academic technologies and online services, coordinating collaboration and communication among the colleges, CCCS, Colorado Online, and CCCOnline.
Over her career, Tina has held numerous academic and administrative leadership roles in higher education, including provost and chief academic officer, dean, and faculty. She is an expert in online and distance learning, digital transformation, academic affairs, and faculty development and brings extensive experience in mentoring, teaching, and scholarship at all educational levels.
Tina serves on several international and national boards and councils, including the Online Learning Consortium and the University Professional and Continuing Education Association. She is regularly invited to present on leadership, active learning, AI, adult learner success, and other pressing topics in higher education. For her outstanding leadership in digital learning, Tina earned the Dick Jonsen & Mollie McGill Award from Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education, Cooperative for Education Technologies (WCET) in 2022.
Tina holds a bachelor’s degree from Regis University, a master’s degree from University of Colorado Denver, and a doctoral degree from Capella University.
