Dr. Tina Parscal
Associate Vice Chancellor for CCCOnline & Academic Affairs
Tina Parscal is the Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC) for Academic Affairs for CCCS. In her role, Tina provides leadership and coordination among college and system leaders and works closely with faculty and staff to improve, expand, evaluate, and promote academic affairs, resulting in excellence in teaching and learning, equity and inclusion, and student success. The AVC is accountable for the CCCS academic affairs initiatives of areas such as She provide vision and leadership for consortia services with emphasis on building sustainable and vibrant organizations with strong academic, learning design, academic technology, and student success focus.
Over her career, Tina has held numerous academic and administrative leadership roles in higher education, including provost and chief academic officer, dean, and faculty. She is an expert in online and distance learning, digital transformation, academic affairs, and faculty development and brings extensive experience in mentoring, teaching, and scholarship at all educational levels.
Tina serves on several international and national boards and councils, including the Online Learning Consortium, Quality Matters, and the University Professional and Continuing Education Association. She is regularly invited to present on leadership, digital learning, learner success, and other pressing topics in higher education. For her outstanding leadership in digital learning, Tina earned the Dick Jonsen & Mollie McGill Award from Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education, WICHE Cooperative for Education Technologies (WCET) in 2022.
Tina holds a bachelor’s degree from Regis University, a master’s degree from University of Colorado Denver, and a PhD from Capella University.
