Annual salary is $38,728 or higher depending on experience.

Department Purpose
The OPTICA Grant Department provides academic support to first generation and low-income students as well as provide professional development opportunities for faculty and staff regarding culturally aware pedagogy. Both efforts aim to improve retention, graduation, and transfer rates for first generation and low-income students.
Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant for the OPTICA Grant program provides office support and logistical project coordination for the OPTICA Grant. The Assistant also provides administrative support for grant programming, database updates, and connecting students with resources on campus and in the community.
In accordance with Colorado Revised Statutes 24-50-135, this position has been exempted from the State Personnel System.
