POSITION SUMMARY
The Community College of Aurora is looking for innovative, inclusive, equity-minded and engaging instructors to teach Communication classes (Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication) through inclusive and student-centered learning strategies. CCA is committed to quality instruction and maintains high academic standards as well as a strong commitment to the success of our students. Educators in the Communication program are continually working to refine pedagogy, practice, and assessment to improve outcomes for all students, particularly historically excluded students or those with marginalized identities. We are a department that values collaboration and experimentation, and we’re looking for a part-time instructor who shares these values. The Communication program works to implement Culturally Relevant Pedagogy and Culturally Sustaining practices.
OVERVIEW OF CCA
