Job Description

Red Rocks Community College seeks applications for a full-time faculty position to join our Fire Science Technology Department. The salary range for this position is $63,945 to $74,771, commensurate with education and experience. This salary is based on 180 contract days within an academic year. The projected start date for this position is January 31, 2025; salary will be prorated based on the number of contract days worked. This is a full-time, FLSA exempt position. This position has been exempted from the State Classified System.  

The successful candidate will fulfill the teaching, professional development, and service obligations of full-time faculty in the Fire Science Technology department at the College in accordance with the philosophy, policies, and procedures of the Colorado Community College System and Red Rocks Community College. A faculty assignment is comprised of two parts, one being the predominant duties as a teacher, which may include program coordination/development and the other is professional development and service obligations.
