Ability to obtain ASE Certifications in Medium-Heavy Truck Certification Tests (T1 – T8) and/ or ASE certification in G1, A6, and in the automobile area (A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A7, and A8) depending on the instructor qualifications and the course taught. The department will pay the testing fees upon employmentInstructors teaching Engine Performance must also be ASE certified in L1 – Advanced Engine PerformanceMust qualify for a Colorado Career Technical Credential by being able to document 4,000 hours of paid work experience in the light duty and/or heavy duty repair industriesExperience with a variety of hand held and laptop diagnostic toolsAbility to effectively communicate in a variety of settings with a diverse audienceMust have a valid driver’s licenseWhat We Can Offer: This is a faculty position with an annual contract of approximately 163 days per year. The first year may require 5-8 additional paid days for faculty orientation and instruction before the fall term. Annual salary is $48,000-$54,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
