Health Sciences is seeking lab assistants for the Paramedic Program to provide instruction in clinically focused skills specific to each respective lab/lecture combination course, as assigned.
This is a temporary part-time hourly position, not to exceed 28 hours per week.
Essential Functions
- Work directly with students to practice course-specific skills.
- Proctor psychomotor exam and skills.
- Assist EMS faculty and adjunct faculty with continuous monitoring of lab supplies and capital equipment.
- Assist EMS faculty and adjunct faculty with filing and other office-related duties.
- Work with ALS students to practice course-specific skills.
- Assist with EMS practical testing.
- Additional duties pertaining to the role as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Completed high school degree or GED.
- Current active Paramedic certification, Colorado or NREMT in good standing.
- One year of experience in the industry as an ALS provider.
- Maintain current ACLS, PALS, and BLS provider certifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional degree from a regionally accredited institution in EMS or Fire Science.
- Additional years of experience in the direct industry.
- Demonstrated leadership and academic management.
- Completion of Colorado EMS Instructor Course or NAEMSE Instructor Level 1.

Must be a State of Colorado resident or able to relocate to Colorado prior to first date of employment. All work must be performed in the State of Colorado.
