Job Description

The TRIO Student Services Support office at RRCC is seeking a Clerical Assistant II to support general office duties such as welcoming students and guests, maintaining awareness of surroundings and TRIO SSS Center/student needs, answering or directing phone and email inquiries, scheduling appointments and contacting students for reminders, data entry, filing, copying, scanning, maintaining a tidy and professional appearance in the TRIO SSS Center, ensuring offices are stocked with appropriate forms and documents, possessing knowledge of RRCC resources, and participating in TRIO SSS events.

This position reports to the Director of TRIO SSS. The work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday. 8:00am to 5:00pm, at the Lakewood Campus location. May be eligible to work limited hours outside of normal work schedule for student events when appropriate.

This is a student employee position. This position may work up to 20 hours each week while class is in session and up to 28 hours each week during academic breaks or breaks between terms while an RRCC student, depending on class schedule, need, and budget availability. Student employees are enrolled and contribute to a TIAA-CREF account when enrolled in less than six credits.
