CCCS’ Dr. Sarah Heath Discusses CTE Equity on Productive Disruption Podcast

Dr. Sarah Heath, CCCS associate vice chancellor for Career and Technical Education (CTE), recently appeared on the Productive Disruption podcast that spotlights innovative ideas in K-12 education. In the episode, Dr. Heath and host Molly McGowan Gorsuch discuss CCCS’ unique role in CTE, breaking down barriers to CTE participation, and engaging industry in CTE programming. 

Dr. Heath leads oversight of Colorado’s secondary and postsecondary CTE, which trains more than 230,000 learners every year in fields as diverse as healthcare, construction, and aviation. CTE programs are available in every two-year college and more than 500 middle and high schools statewide, covering about 90% of Colorado’s school districts.
