On Tuesday, December 8, 2020, thousands of Coloradans will once again come together to support their communities by participating in Colorado Gives Day, an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy through online giving. The Foundation for Colorado Community Colleges hopes you will consider the Colorado Community College System (CCCS) and our 13 colleges if you plan to make a gift on this special day of statewide giving.
CCCS is the state’s largest system of higher education, serving over 125,000 students annually. Our 13 colleges, with 40 locations, provide the education and skills individuals need to earn a livable wage, enhance economic opportunity, and improve their standard of living. The Foundation for Colorado Community Colleges and each of the 13 college foundations support student success through raising funds for scholarships as well as supporting other important campus initiatives.
Colorado Gives Day is presented by Community First Foundation and FirstBank, which have each contributed $500,000 to create a $1 Million Incentive Fund. Nonprofits receiving a donation through Colorado Gives receive a portion of the fund, which increases the value of every dollar donated. The opportunity for your gift to qualify for a match makes this a great day to make a gift in support of community colleges.
The Colorado Community College System and most of our 13 colleges are participating in Colorado Gives Day. You can learn more about our colleges and supporting their Colorado Gives Day Campaigns on the following pages:
