About the RITEI Program
CCCS was one of five recipients of the national Jobs for the Future Rapid IT Training and Employment (RITEI) grant, collaborating with industry partners to connect IT trainees with high-demand jobs.
Through this grant, we pioneered online platforms for Colorado residents to earn CompTIA A+ Certification or one of five Google IT Professional Certificates—completely free!
The program opened doors to exciting career paths, including computer user support specialists, computer network support specialists, and other high-demand IT roles.
The Rapid IT Training and Employment program has been a huge help in starting my IT career. I like that we get personal support, and the online courses have been convenient to complete with my busy schedule.
Moving Forward
The RITEI initiative laid the foundation for a broader effort to expand career-focused learning to nontraditional students. Enter the Colorado Skills Institute—a standalone training resource that builds on the RITEI model, offering multiple career paths and skills across various industries, including IT and beyond.
Starting in early 2025, learners will gain access to a cloud-based marketplace filled with flexible courses leading to industry-recognized credentials. These include noncredit, short-term, and competency-based options, all designed for today’s workforce.
Every course at Colorado Skills Institute includes Prior Learning Assessment clearance, so your achievements can be applied toward credit transfers at colleges and universities across Colorado!
