Biography

Brad Rupert is a former attorney, education leader, and business owner who resides in Arvada, Colorado. Brad served six years on the Jefferson County Board of Education, where he helped expand career and technical education opportunities for students. He recently retired from his practice as a business, real estate, and estate planning attorney.

During his tenure on the school board from 2015 to 2021, Brad led efforts to expand Warren Tech, Jeffco’s technical education center, and visited Switzerland to study and adopt best practices from its extensive vocational education system. He also worked closely with the Arvada Chamber of Commerce to engage the business community in providing more workplace learning opportunities. Prior to his career in law, Brad managed restaurants, including seven Arby’s franchise restaurants.

A committed community leader, Brad has volunteered for local organizations for the past 25 years, including the Arvada Community Food Bank, the Arvada-Jefferson Kiwanis, Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver, and others. He was recognized as Arvada’s Man of the Year in 2011 for his volunteer work.

Brad earned a bachelor's degree from Colorado State University and an M.B.A. and J.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder. His two children graduated from Jeffco Public Schools.
