POLICY STATEMENT

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) protects the privacy of student education records. The Board delegates to the Community College Presidents the responsibility for compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

SCOPE

This policy applies to state system community colleges and the system office.

PROCEDURE

The System President shall promulgate procedures as necessary to implement this policy.
