POLICY STATEMENT

Each College in the Colorado Community College System (CCCS or College) shall develop a Comprehensive Academic Plan (CAP) and update this plan every academic year. The CAP shall include the minimum requirements specified by the System Chancellor and the Colorado Commission on Higher Education, including consistency with facility and technology planning goals. The CAP will describe the goals and priorities of the College for the academic year. The Board delegates the authority to approve the CAP to the Chancellor and his or her designee(s).

SCOPE

This policy applies to each College in the System.

EXISTING PLANS

All existing Comprehensive Academic Plans remain in effect until changes are approved per this policy.

PROCEDURES

The System Chancellor shall promulgate procedures as needed to implement this policy.
